Good morning. As anticipated, last week’s poll garnered a lot of attention. Ultimately, Sidney Crosby collected 71% of the votes over Alex Ovechkin but we agree with one participant’s feedback:

“The number of Stanley Cups and other hardware is misleading”

Fair, but championships are often how we judge the best-of-the-best athletes across all sports.

Speaking of which, clearly the Pittsburgh Penguins are gunning for another Cup — possibly their last real chance with Crosby & Co. — after acquiring Erik Karlsson this past week. Curious to hear who you think won that trade in today’s poll, below.
