Panthers Have No Answer For Vegas Offense

Determining which players are most important to the Vegas Golden Knights these days is challenging only because it seems like every Vegas player is performing at an elite level.

The Golden Knights were dominant Monday night to take down the Florida Panthers 7-2 in Game 2 and claim a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Stanley Cup Final.

Nine different players have scored for Vegas in the first two games, the most ever in the first two games of a Stanley Cup Final.

It’s been 27 years since a team has dominated the first two games of a Stanley Cup Final like the Golden Knights have. The last team to outscore an opponent by eight or more goals in the first two games of the championship series was 1996 when the Colorado Avalanche did it to the Panthers.
