McDavid vs. Ovi did not disappoint last night!
Calgary doesn't look too hot and Marchand and Byram have a couple interview quotes that have us loling

Good morning and happy Tuesday, November 8th. NHL fans were provided a real treat last night thanks to the Oilers vs. Caps game, recapped below. Despite their name, Calgary doesn't look too hot right now... and Marchand and Byram have a couple interview quotes that have us loling.

McDavid vs. Ovi did not disappoint last night!
Sometimes a game is so exciting and full of highlights it worthy of a recap. And last night's game between the Oilers and Capitals, featuring NHL superstars Connor McDavid and Alex Ovechkin was just that!
The Capitals took the lead late in the first thanks to a nasty high near-side snipe by Dylan Strome. And Strome wasn't done as he put the Caps up 2-0 just 26 seconds into the second period.
But reigning Art Ross winner Connor McDavid was determined to diminish the Caps' lead and during a 4-on-4 situation halfway through the second he scored an amazing goal, walking the Caps' defense and dangling netminder Charlie Lindgren.
Then former all-stars Evgeny Kuznetsov and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins exchanged goals for a 4-3 Caps lead, before Mr. Rocket Richard Trophy himself, Alex Ovechkin, unleashed a laser of a wrister to the back of the net to put the Caps up 5-3 before the end of the second period.
Leon Draisaitl quickly cut the lead to one, burying one in tight early in the third period. But Charlie Lindgren robbed McDavid halfway through the third period to maintain the Caps' one-goal lead.
Proving he can do more than just score goals and run people over, Alex Ovechkin made an incredible no-look between-the-legs pass to set up Evgeny Kuznetsov with 1:51 remaining in regulation for what proved to be the game-winner.
But that didn't stop the Oilers from battling and keeping things very interesting as Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his second of the game to make the score 5-4 Caps with 1:06 remaining in regulation.
Losing 5-4 certainly wasn't the way Connor McDavid would've liked to celebrate his 500th NHL game but the fans were provided a real treat regardless!
When it comes to the regular season, aside from maybe a long-standing rivalry game, is there anything better than seeing some of the game's biggest stars and their team's faceoff?
CAN'T MISS
🚫🔥 The Calgary Flames are not hot right now, dropping their fifth straight in an overtime loss last night to the Islanders. The Flames won five of their first six games to start the season but now find themselves 5-4-2, good for twelve points and fifth place in the Pacific division.
💰 Ryan Reynolds is legitimately interested in buying the Sens, according to his interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night. "I am trying to (buy the Senators), it's very expensive so I need a partner with really deep pockets." When our team first heard and then reported Reynolds could be a potential buyer, we assumed it was just the media rumor mill doing its thing... but it sounds more and more legit by the day.
